The role of Tissue Kallikreins in Rosacea (2009–2013)

Abstract:

The specific aims of this project are: 1. To assess the protease activity in healthy and affected skin of Rosacea patients in comparison with healthy volunteers. 2. To assess the levels of kallikrein expression in healthy and affected skin of Rosacea patients in comparison with healthy volunteers. 3. To assess the levels of putative kallikrein target proteins and the inhibitor LEKTI in healthy and affected skin of Rosacea patients in comparison with healthy volunteers.
