NHMRC Training (Postdoctoral) Fellowship: Epidemiological investigation of environmental determinants of health using spatial and temporal statistical methods (2010–2014)

Abstract:
This study will explore and develop new statistical methods to assess the geographic variation of the health outcomes and their associated environmental risk factors. It will assist the identification of risk factor distribution across the population at a given time and locate the areas (and populations) of greatest disease risk or disease burden. Ultimately, this will lead to specific and applied actions in disease control and prevention.
