NHMRC Practitioner Fellowship (Level 1) (2012–2017)

Abstract:
This Practitioner Fellowship will aim to improve outcomes in people with lung cancer, through early case detection and strategies to improve prognosis and management. The specific studies proposed are: 1. Participate in the IASLC Lung Cancer Staging prospective project to revise the next TNM edition 2. Molecular markers for the diagnosis, prognosis and prediction of treatment response in lung cancer 3. Health Technology assessment of electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy for the evaluation of peripheral lung nodules 4. Low dose CT screening to detect early lung cancers.
