Development of a novel and practical method for fabricating carbon nanotube reinforced polymer composites for automotive applications (2014–2017)

Abstract:
This project aims to develop a novel and practical method to fabricate high performance carbon nanotube reinforced polymer composites, which can be used in automotives to reduce the weight of automobiles and promote the fuel consumption efficiency. Such fabrication method will be effective, economic and environmentally friendly, and will have great potential for commercial utilization.
