Advanced Laser Additive Manufacturing System for Extended Applications to Surface Engineering, Direct Manufacturing and New Alloy Development (2014–2015)

Abstract:
The proposed laser additive manufacturing system will provide critical level of investment and national strategic focus to sustain Australia¿s advantage in light metal and steel market. It supports breakthrough research on direct manufacturing, surface engineering of metal components, alloy development and on generation of new scientific knowledge.
