Reasserting conflict: legitimate conflict in the history of science and religion (2018)

This project aims to initiate discussion about the role of ┬┐conflict┬┐ in the history of science and religion in order to reassert a place for legitimate forms of conflict within the field. Scholars have come to a consensus that the science-religion interface is one best understood in terms of its complexity, but have yet to ask where legitimate forms of conflict fit within this model. This project will attempt to answer the preliminary questions in 2 articles and produce a research grant bid.
