Creating an evidence base for disability inclusive and gender inclusive sustainable development goal implementation in the Asia and Pacific region (2018–2021)

Aim To build an influential research program at the new Centre for Policy Futures, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), and to become a leading international academic authority on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)/2030 Agenda from an intersecting global health policy, rights and equity-oriented perspective. This Fellowship will: - Intersect with operationalisation of the innovative SDG agenda, which is `core business¿ of the UN and its Member States until 2030; - Present HASS Faculty/UQ expertise and Knowledge Leadership attractive to countries in the Asia/Pacific region and multiple funding bodies i.e. World Bank; - Generate a longer-term program of policy research well-beyond Fellowship term.
