Building Teachers' Practices in Teaching Writing to Students with Developmental Disabilities and Learning Difficulties Through Professional Learning Communities (2006)

Abstract:
The study will investigate the effects of developing urban and rural teachers' teaching practices in writing in the key learning areas and across the curriculum through buidling professional learning communities. It will examine the influence on the teachers' practices and on the writing abilities, skills, and motivation of students with developmental disabilities and learning difficulties.
