Overview

David is a surgical principal house officer (PHO) with a background in anatomy education, clinical research and health advocacy. He is currently undertaking a PhD through the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI) at QUT and continues to teach medical students through the UQ and Grifith University medical programs.

Available Projects

  • Several research projects for MD students are available that evaluate the intra-osseous blood supply to bone in cadavers using colloidal gold, x-ray and micro computed tomography scanning. The projects are run through the Queensland University of Technology at the Medical Engineering Research Facility (MERF) and the Institute for Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI).

    Projects will be co-supervised with Professor Dietmar Hutmacher (QUT)
