Overview

Dr. Fengde Zhou received his Bachelor degree in Reservoir Engineering, Master and PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China, in 2000, 2003 and 2009, respectively. He is interested in reservoir characterization, reservoir geological modelling and numerical simulation for conventional and unconventional oil & gas reservoirs.

He is an associate professor at the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). He was a visiting fellow from June 2008 to December 2009 and a postdoctoral research associate from February of 2011 to February of 2015 at the School of Petroleum Engineering, University of New South Wales, Australia.

He is one of the editorial board members of the Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering and a professional member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He is a reviewer for many journals and was awarded as the Top Reviewer of the Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering throughout 2012.
