  • Web 3.0 is a step forward since it enables users to modify information resources by themselves. Web 3.0 will be intelligent and systems will understand and learn what the user wants and suggest content that they are searching for (Isaias and Ifenthaler, 2011).

It is inevitable that e-Learning systems appear as implementations based in Web 3.0. We will have e-Learning 3.0 platforms.

This PhD requires the candidate to build a Web 3.0 e-Learning prototype and will be able to answer the following research questions:

    a) How should these e-Learning 3.0 platforms be structured?

    b) How can e-Learning 3.0 courses be organized to get the best of Web 3.0?

    c) What skills are required from students and lecturers to get the best out of e-Learning 3.0?
