I am a quantitative sociologist with a special interest in social disadvantage, family and wellbeing over the life course. My main area of focus is young parenthood, and its impact on the continued life of parents and children. Working mainly with large longitudinal data sets, both survey- and administrative data, I am currently taking a particular interest in how the effects of young parenthood differ across strata of the population of young parents in Sweden and Australia, as the lead investigator of a 3 year research project funded by the Swedish research agency FORTE.
