Research Impacts

After completing his BPharm in 2007 at the University of Development Alternative, Dhaka, Bangladesh, he joined the Department of Pharmacy there as a teaching assistant for two years. Later, he went to Chungju National University, South Korea, and successfully completed an MSc in Chemical and Biological Engineering. His MSc research was focused on nanocarrier drug delivery systems for anti-cancer drugs. He has completed his PhD in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at the University of Queensland, Australia under the guidance of Assoc Prof Vito Ferro and co-supervisors Dr John Tsanaktsidis (CSIRO), Prof Paul Monagle and Assoc Prof Vera Ignjatovic (University of Melbourne/Murdoch Children’s Research Institute). His PhD studies were focused on the synthesis and biological evaluation of novel polymers by RAFT polymerization. Currently he has been working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Vito Feorro's group.
