Isaac Tranter is an early career general practitioner with interests in public health, planetary health and palliative care. He completed two years as academic registrar in the General Practice Clinical Unit where he was employed to provide education to medical students undergoing their general practice rotation. Isaac has also been involved in the curation of the general practice rotation curiculum along with the redesign on the UQ medical school curriculum due to commence in 2023.
Isaac has been the lead investigator on a number of small, predominantly qualitative, studies looking at topics from medical communication and doctor patient relationships to post graduate education on vaccine delivery in general practice.
