Dr Sharman is a Research Fellow in the School of Psychology. Her research interests are broadly in the fields of Emotion, Health, Music, and Social Psychology, often focusing on disadvantaged and marginalised groups. Much of her research involves interdisciplinary or cross-cultural collaborations, with links to the UQ School of Law and the School of Medicine. Her PhD was completd in 2019 with her thesis furthering our understanding of our interpretations of crying and it's functions.
