Overview

I am currently a post doctoral research fellow working with Prof. Paul Burn and Prof. Ian Gentle, in the centre for organic photonics & electronics (COPE) at the University of Queensland. I graduated with a Ph.D. in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

My research interest is in the area of 'functional oxide semiconductors, second generation and third-generation photovoltaic cells'. I am trained as a experimental physicist specialized in the area of semiconducting oxide thin-films and its application to chemical/biological (single) molecule detection using surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy. From the last five years, I have been working into the non-voltaile resistive memories, visible conductors, organic solar cells, and perovskite solar cells research areas. X-ray diffraction, and neutron (facility at ANSTO, Australia), light and x-ray scattering, spectroscopic ellipsometry are key techniques used in these studies.
