Overview

D Royce Sadler is Senior Assessment Scholar in the Teaching and Educational Development Institute at The University of Queensland. His teaching and research interests are in the formative and summative assessment of student learning. Current work and recent publications have focused on assessment-related issues in higher education, particularly grading, academic achievement standards and the role of assessment in improving learning and professional competence. He is also Professor Emeritus in Higher Education, Griffith University.
