Overview

My primary career interest is in evidence-based approaches to improving mental health in young people, and finding new ways of getting high quality mental health research implemented in real-world contexts, where problems are often complex and multi-level. I bring clinical, research and business perspectives to health service implementation, with a focus on cost effective and human-centred approaches that capitalise on evidence. I am an AHPRA-registered psychologist, with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, and I am a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists (Australian Psychological Society). I am also a Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Business and Economics. I have published over 100 scientific papers and have received approximately $4M in competitive research grants and fellowships. I am the first chief investigator on most of my grants, and my research has been recognised with national awards for innovation in research and clinical practice.
