Civic networks, food justice and the SDGs: designing fair food futures for Australia (2019–2021)

Abstract:
This project aims to investigate how civic food actors in Australia are reimagining what a better food system might look like in the future, and will assess how these visions connect to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research is the first study to adapt and apply an innovative ¿future scenario modelling¿ methodology to Australia and to emphasise food justice in response to the SDGs. Outcomes include data to inform the UN SDG process and improved policy making.
