Pharyngeal electromyography and electromagnetic articulography in the diagnosis of swallowing dysfunction in adults post-traumatic brain injury (2005–2006)

Abstract:
An impairment in swallowing has been documented as one of the major negative outcomes of traumatic brain injury (TBI) in adults. Not only are these swallowing disorders potentially life-threatening, they also led to severe restriction in the social and recreational activities of affected individuals and possible depression.
