Overview

Ali Intezari is a Lecturer at UQ Business School, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Prior to joining the University of Queensland, he held academic position at Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests include: organizational wisdom theory, strategic decision-making (knowledge-based view), knowledge management, and business in Iran and Middle East. He has published in the fields of management, and has taught courses at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Interzari has won multiple research awards.

Research Interests

  • Organizational wisdom theory
    How organizational wisdom affects individual and organizational performance. What is the role of wise leadership? How is wisdom conceptualized in terms of business concepts?
  • Strategic decision-making
    Strategic decision-making from a knowledge perspective. How the integration of rationality and non-rationality informs strategic decisions in the business context.
  • Knowledge Management and Knowledge Leadership
    Knowledge management and leadership in international organizations. The impact of organizational knowledge management and knowledge culture on international businesses. How do organizational knowledge culture and institutional factors interact towards achieving long-term and win-win international interactions between developing and developed countries?
