Overview

Lily is a senior lecturer in finance at UQ Business School. Her research interests include empirical corporate finance, corporate governance, institutional investors, corporate innovation, and informed trading. Lily's research has been published in international peer-reviewed finance journals, such as Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, and Financial Management. She has been awarded one Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery research grant and several AFAANZ research grants. Before joining UQ, she was a senior lecturer at La Trobe University. Lily received a PhD in finance from the University of New South Wales in late 2011. During her PhD studies, she also completed CFA Levels 1 and 2. To date, Lily has successfully supervised several honours students (all graduating with first class honours) and PhD students.
