Eleanor is currently completing her PhD, which aims to better understand peer support and collaboration between commercial and social entrepreneurs in business incubators. Eleanor's research at UQ is focused on entrepreneurship in higher education, and she is researching ‘entrepreneurial education’ in the curriculum, the embedding of entrepreneurial competencies in non-traditional disciplines.

Entrepreneurial Education

As a coordinator of entrepreneurial education, Eleanor works across UQ in curriculum development that nurtures an entrepreneurial mindset, developing students as problem-solvers with the skills to create positive change in the world.

Before joining UQ, Eleanor led an award-winning university business incubator in the UK, including extra-curricular entrepreneurship programs, and supporting the development of entrepreneurship in the curriculum.


Eleanor led the development of the university-wide entrepreneurial education professional learning programs for UQ teaching & learning staff in 2019-2021, and contributes to various courses to support embedding entrepreneurial education in the curriculum.
