Graeme Shanks is a Professor in the Business Information Systems discipline at the UQ Business School, The University of Queensland. He is also Honorary Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems, The University of Melbourne. He was previously Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University. His research interests include understanding how organisations benefit from artificial intelligence, business analytics and enterprise architecture, and ethical aspects of big data analytics.He has published the outcomes of his research in over 200 journal and conference papers. He was awarded an Australian Professorial Fellow position by the Australian Research Council in 2010, and was a member of the College of Experts of the Australian Research Council from 2004-2005.
