Professor Jurg Keller's research interests are in: environmental biotechnology, Biological Nutrient Removal process development, anaerobic treatment technologies and Bio-process characterisation.

Professor Jurg Keller's research projects are:

  • Development of the H-DOC Biosensor for Characterisation of Activated Sludge Kinetics & Wastewater Composition
  • Development and understanding of an effective nitritation process
  • Enhanced Biological Phosphorus Removal (EBR): Optimisation through Process Analysis & Operational Improvements
