Nikhil Pathak did his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2018 in the area of power system operation & control and his master's degree from Jamia Millia Islamia University New Delhi in 2014 with the specialization in power systems. In 2018, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China as a postdoctoral fellow where he has carried his research on the optimum integration of offshore wind farms to the conventional power system networks. He joined the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at The University of Queensland, Australia in 2021. Currently, he is working on the state government sponsored project which will enable Queensland power system network with high penetration of renewable energy sources.
