Overview

Centaine is a Health Economics Research Fellow with the Centre for Health Services Research. Her research focuses on the economic evaluation of telehealth within many different specialties for the CRE in Telehealth. She is currently using modelling to simulate the economic efficiency of implementing telehealth initiatives for chronic conditions and into clinical services. In addition to standard cost analysis methods she has experience with choice analysis, decision analytic and microsimulation modelling. Previous research projects include the economic evaluation of telehealth for dermatology in the area of skin cancer.

Centaine is also a pharmacist with eight years clinical practice and education experience. She currently practices at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and holds an affiliate position at the UQ School of Pharmacy. She is passionate about optimising healthcare outcomes, with a focus on technology, data security, privacy, and empowering patients.
