Andres F. Osorio joined The University of Queensland in 2017 as Lecturer in the School of Civil Engineering. His background is in combustion, small-scale flammabiity testing including the develpoment of specialised experimental devices. His research interests are in the studying fire behaviour at different length scales and applying this knowledge to fields such as fire safety, bushland fires, engineered wood among others.
