Dr Shazed Aziz is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Queensland, Australia. His current research aims to manufacture nano-reinforced sustainable polymer composites for automobile and construction structural applications. His research focus also includes conductive polymer based smart textiles and exoskeleton components for on-demand work assistance and bionic therapy. Dr Aziz has also demonstrated research skills on various aspects of fundamental and applied polymer science with a particular emphasis on polymeric actuators (artificial muscles) for soft robotics, energy harvesting, and wearable and implantable bio-devices.
